STATERs are issued in paper bills in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100. Children receive 50 STATERs in their Account as part of admission which can be accessed using their e-Card, allowing students to start spending their STATERs right away, then earning more through the many activities available at the Day of the DARE (DotD).

Students have their STATERs available to spend via their e-Card or in cash by making a withdrawal at the closest ATM. Students can purchase products or hire services. For example, they can go and pay their entrance to the Disco Lounge or get their nails done at the Beauty Salon. Prices for products and services vary according to the principle of supply and demand.

As with any economic system, goods and services are purchased with money, and money in return must be earned as payment in exchange of work. Thus, if the Students run out of STATERs they will need to do a DARE. For example, they can be a Rugby Player in the School Team or serve the School as a Courier in a Courier company. Salaries for different jobs vary according to the principle of supply and demand.

Through the course of using their STATERs, students learn about bank accounts, generating savings and earning interest. They learn how to manage money by going to the bank to conduct business with an E-card or using an ATM machine to make withdrawals or check their account balance. They can also check their account balance online via the STATERs mobile banking app.

Students must first earn STATERs before they can spend them and may have to save some in order to afford higher priced items. With their earned STATERs, students can buy pencils and notebooks for their school, gifts for their friends or decorations for their houses, among others.

All Clubs and Co-curricular coordinators get to set-up in their own area for students to visit and experience an activity they offer. For the first time they give all students in the school the opportunity to enjoy their offering.

Students get to experience as many clubs and co-curricular activities that they can fit into one day. Schools may use the Day of the DARE to promote the School to parents seeking a school for their children. For every activity concluded at a Club or Co-curricular the student earns STATERs which is deposited in their mobile banking wallet and available to spend via their ATM card at STATERs shops situated at the school for the Day of the DARE.

The Hangout Mall has shops of all types that accepts STATERs for their products and services. Everything from candy to cinema tickets. Hangout Mall is available to all students and accepts cash withdrawn using the STATERs ATM card.

For one day Students get to spend a whole day doing an activity at every club available in the school. Students are given a map of the school showing location of every Club and Co-curricular activity located in the school just for that day.

We dare the student to achieve a particular task in their club and/or co-curriculum activity, and they earn STATERs. Co-curriculum and club activities are more fun. Students earn STATERs as they participate in school club and co-curriculum activities of their choice.

STATERs’ is accepted by our online shop, pop-up shops at your school and your tuck shop, if you choose. here students may purchase a range of items. STATERs ATM card issued to each student is used for purchases.

Students learn about money management, entrepreneurial and wealth management skills as well as experience in financial planning. While doing things they love. STATERs earned is deposited in each students account and accessed through a secure mobile banking web wallet/app.
